SYNOPSIS

zerodds-xrce-agentd [--config FILE] [--listen udp|tcp:ADDR]... [--log-level LEVEL] [--set PATH=VALUE]... [--check-config] [-V | -h]

DESCRIPTION

zerodds-xrce-agentd is the Agent side of OMG DDS-XRCE 1.0: it represents one or more eProsima-compatible Micro Clients (UDP, TCP or serial) in the DDS data space, running the CREATE_CLIENT/STATUS_AGENT handshake, reliable streams with HEARTBEAT/ACKNACK, FRAGMENT reassembly, and mapping CREATE/DELETE/ WRITE_DATA/READ_DATA onto real DDS participants, topics, publishers, subscribers, data writers and data readers. A participant joins the DDS domain its CREATE carries. Implements docs/specs/dds-xrce-1.0.md.

OPTIONS

--config=FILE: Path to the config file (YAML). See zerodds-xrce-agentd.yaml(5).
--listen=udp|tcp:ADDR: Add a listener (repeatable). Default, if none is given anywhere: one UDP listener on 0.0.0.0:2018, eProsima's own default agent port.
--log-level=LEVEL: One of trace, debug, info, warn, error.
--set PATH=VALUE: One setting above every file, repeatable; +PATH=VALUE appends to a list.
--check-config: Validate and print the effective configuration with the origin of every value, then exit: 0 valid, 1 invalid value or unknown key, 2 unreadable file, syntax error or include cycle.
-V, --version: Version info.
-h, --help: Show the option synopsis.

SIGNALS

SIGTERM stops the daemon. SIGHUP reloads what can be reloaded without a restart: log_level, limits.*, session_timeout_secs and discovery.enabled (the discovery responder thread is stopped or started to match). A changed listeners:, type_files: or xml_profile_files: entry is logged and ignored until restart — live-rebinding a listening socket or swapping the TypeObject set under in-flight sessions would risk silently orphaning them. A configuration that does not load changes nothing; the daemon keeps running on the last good configuration and logs why the reload was refused.

ENVIRONMENT

OTEL_EXPORTER_OTLP_ENDPOINT: Optional OTLP endpoint, such as http://localhost:4318.

EXIT STATUS

0: Normal shutdown.
1: Configuration error.
2: Bind error — a listener's port already in use.
3: DDS discovery or runtime error.

BESCHREIBUNG

zerodds-xrce-agentd ist die Agent-Seite von OMG DDS-XRCE 1.0: Er vertritt einen oder mehrere eProsima-kompatible Micro Clients (UDP, TCP oder seriell) im DDS-Datenraum, führt den Handshake CREATE_CLIENT/STATUS_AGENT, zuverlässige Streams mit HEARTBEAT/ACKNACK und das Zusammensetzen von FRAGMENTs aus und bildet CREATE/DELETE/WRITE_DATA/READ_DATA auf echte DDS-Participants, Topics, Publisher, Subscriber, Data Writer und Data Reader ab. Ein Participant tritt der DDS-Domäne bei, die sein CREATE trägt. Implementiert docs/specs/dds-xrce-1.0.md.

OPTIONEN

--config=DATEI: Pfad zur Konfigurationsdatei (YAML). Siehe zerodds-xrce-agentd.yaml(5).
--listen=udp|tcp:ADR: Einen Listener hinzufügen (wiederholbar). Standard, wenn nirgends einer angegeben ist: ein UDP-Listener auf 0.0.0.0:2018, dem Standard-Agent-Port von eProsima selbst.
--log-level=STUFE: Eine von trace, debug, info, warn, error.
--set PFAD=WERT: Eine Einstellung über allen Dateien, wiederholbar; +PFAD=WERT hängt an eine Liste an.
--check-config: Prüft die wirksame Konfiguration und gibt sie mit der Herkunft jedes Werts aus, dann Ende: 0 gültig, 1 ungültiger Wert oder unbekannter Schlüssel, 2 nicht lesbare Datei, Syntaxfehler oder Include-Zyklus.
-V, --version: Versionsangabe.
-h, --help: Zeigt die Übersicht der Optionen.

SIGNALE

SIGTERM beendet den Daemon. SIGHUP lädt neu, was sich ohne Neustart neu laden lässt: log_level, limits.*, session_timeout_secs und discovery.enabled (der Thread des Discovery-Responders wird passend gestoppt oder gestartet). Ein geänderter Eintrag in listeners:, type_files: oder xml_profile_files: wird protokolliert und bis zum Neustart ignoriert — einen lauschenden Socket im Betrieb neu zu binden oder die TypeObject-Menge unter laufenden Sitzungen auszutauschen, würde riskieren, diese still zu verwaisen. Eine Konfiguration, die nicht lädt, ändert nichts; der Daemon läuft mit der letzten guten Konfiguration weiter und protokolliert, warum das Neuladen abgelehnt wurde.

EXIT-STATUS

0: Normales Beenden.
1: Konfigurationsfehler.
