What it was

A Rust crate of the workspace that carried the C# binding of ZeroDDS (its description: “C# P/Invoke, NativeAOT-compatible, IDL4-C# runtime”).

Replacement in 1.0.0-rc.7

C# remains, without a Rust crate: a .NET 8 solution under crates/cs/csharp/, P/Invoke over the ZeroDDS C API (libzerodds), NativeAOT-compatible, with the IDL4-C# runtime. NuGet packages:

• ZeroDDS — the binding.
• ZeroDDS.Cdr — the IDdsTopicType<T> contract a generated *TypeSupport companion implements.
• ZeroDds.Wire — the XCDR2 codec (runtime/csharp) the companion calls.

Types and their *TypeSupport companion come from zerodds-idlc generate --lang c# (zerodds-lang-rules).
