Privacy notice
This website processes as little personal data as possible. No tracking, no analytics, no advertising cookies, no lead scoring. What we still process and why is documented here.
The German and the English version are equally binding.

2 · Type and scope of processing
2.1 Server log files
When you access this website, our hosting provider processes technical access data in temporary log files. The following are collected:
- IP address (anonymised after 7 days)
- Date and time of access
- Requested URL
- Referrer (previous page)
- User agent (browser type, operating system)
- HTTP status code
Purpose: Provision of the website, defence against attacks, ensuring functionality. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest — secure operation). Storage period: 7 days.
2.2 Contact form and email inquiries
If you use the contact form on /contact.html, your local mail client opens with pre-filled fields. Transmission goes directly from your mail client to us; no form data is cached on our website.
If you contact us by email, we process the data you transmit (name, email address, content of the inquiry) to handle your inquiry.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or, as applicable, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling the inquiry). Storage period: until the inquiry has been conclusively handled; statutory retention periods (HGB / AO) remain unaffected.
2.3 Web fonts (Google Fonts)
This website loads the "IBM Plex" font from Google Fonts
(fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com).
On load, your browser sends an HTTP request to Google in the US
that contains your IP address.
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a uniform presentation).
Third-country transfer: Data are transferred to Google in the US on the basis of the standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR) and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Note: Anyone who wishes to avoid this can block the fonts — the site works without Google Fonts, with a fallback to system fonts (Cambria/Georgia, system-ui, ui-monospace). Planned migration to self-hosted fonts in v1.x.
2.4 Cookies
This website sets no tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies.
Only technical LocalStorage entries are used:
theme- Stores the manually selected colour mode preference (light/dark/auto). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Storage period: until you delete LocalStorage in your browser. No login state, no user ID.
zerodds.lang- Stores the language selected with the EN/DE switch (en/de). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Storage period: until you delete LocalStorage in your browser. No login state, no user ID.
Since this is technically necessary storage for user-requested functions (user preference), the exception under § 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG applies — no consent is required.

This website contains links to external services such as GitHub

website. We have no influence over the data processing of these

cannot be intercepted by third parties.
